Hi! I’m so happy you found me here at Happily Ever Emma! My name is Emily. Emma was a nickname my grandma called me. She is the one who bought me a sewing machine as a young girl and nagged me for years to take sewing classes. Years later, I had our sweet girl in 2020 during the pandemic. She was totally bald and I was totally bow obsessed. Lets be honest, you can never have too many. This journey began when I wanted a specific bow, but couldn’t find anything fitting my vision. It all fell in place naturally. With the extra time on my hands during the pandemic, I finally sat down for hours and watched hours and hours of youtube videos and trouble-shooted that old sewing machine gifted to me as a young girl. Eventually I got it and suddenly my bow obsession got a whole lot worse. Later, I opened my first etsy shop in February 2021 (Emma Sue’s Collection). Quickly I noticed that my love for Disney was shining through — about half of my products were Disney inspired. I decided to make what was intended to be a “second shop” for my Disney inspired bows and it has picked up so quickly. Aside from having the opportunity to spend so much time with my daughter while being able to financially contribute for my family, there is absolutely nothing I love more than bringing you all magical inspired ears and perfectly tied bows.
